As a member of the Palana Team, you will be part of a new, dynamic and fast-growing company which focuses on delivering high quality advice and services to Asset & Wealth Managers and Asset Servicers. We cover the various asset classes across vanilla, private equity, real estate and infrastructure products.
We are looking for an ESG Regulatory Reporting Trainee who will be instrumental in ensuring that our clients comply with the ever-evolving landscape of ESG regulations. In this role, you will oversee the preparation, analysis, and delivery of regulatory reports related to sustainability, ensuring that all data meets the standards set by key regulations such as the Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR), EU Taxonomy, and other related frameworks.
As an integral part of our team, you will work directly with clients to understand their reporting requirements, source the necessary data, and ensure that it is accurately represented in their regulatory submissions. Your ability to interpret complex ESG data and regulatory frameworks will be key to providing actionable insights for both compliance and business strategy. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including data management, compliance, and legal, to streamline reporting processes and ensure that regulatory deadlines are consistently met.
In addition, you will help improve internal workflows and processes, contributing to the continuous enhancement of our regulatory reporting solutions. You will stay on top of any changes in ESG regulations, advising the team on best practices, and making sure the systems we use are well-positioned for the next phase of regulatory change. Responsibilities
- Produce and maintain ESG Regulatory Reporting Disclosures (SFDR, TCFD, SDR) and reporting (EET).
- Assess impacts of regulatory changes on client reporting and operating model.
- Support our clients in maintaining their fund documentation in line with the related regulatory requirements.

Must Have
- Bachelor/Master Degree (ongoing) or Higher in Law, Economics or Business.
- Analytical and problem solving skills.
- Analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Good written English and communication as well as presentation skills.
- Creative and autonomous, appetite to learn, great team player.
- Valid work permit for Luxembourg.
Nice to have
- French, German or other European language.
- Knowledge of ESG-related regulations (SFDR, TCFD, SDR).
- Knowledge of the Luxembourg Finance regulatory framework (e.g. UCITS, AIFMD, CSSF Circulars, etc.)
- Technology savviness.
- Project management skills.
