Responsibilities

Data Intake & Coordination: Collect and manage financial data from clients and third-party providers. Act as the day-to-day contact for data-related queries and follow-ups.

Data Quality & Validation: Perform data checks, reconciliations and investigations to ensure accuracy, consistency and completeness.

Business Rules & Functional Specifications: Translate data quality requirements, reporting rules and operational issues into clear business rules, validation criteria and functional guidelines to support automation, system development and the implementation of controls.

Data Preparation & Reporting: Prepare and validate datasets for internal processes, client deliverables and regulatory reporting, using Excel, SQL or basic Python where required.
- Data Governance & Compliance: Ensure data handling aligns with internal standards and regulatory requirements; maintain clear documentation and audit trails.
- Continuous Process Improvement & Innovation: Proactively challenge existing data processes, identify inefficiencies and recurring pain points, and contribute practical ideas to improve, standardise, automate and scale data operations.
- Client & Stakeholder Support: Support clients, internal teams and external stakeholders by explaining data outputs, clarifying requirements and resolving operational data issues to ensure timely, reliable data delivery.
Must Have
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Analytics, Data Science or a related field

Understanding of financial data and interest in investment fund operations

0 to 3 years of experience in a similar role or relevant academic background

Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
- Fluency in English; French or German is considered an advantage
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Valid right to work in Luxembourg

- Understanding of the investment fund industry or financial services sector
- Additional European languages
